119 fire mishaps on Diwali in TS

As many as 58 people were admitted to the hospital after suffering injuries during Diwali celebrations across the state on Wednesday. Apart from the injured, Fire Department officials said that they recorded 119 incidents of fire mishap on festival day and most of the victims were from Hyderabad.

Apart from the injured, Fire Department officials said that they recorded 119 incidents of fire mishap on festival day and most of the victims were from Hyderabad.
The victims were admitted to the Sarojini Eye Hospital in Hyderabad for treatment, where the doctors said that five among the admitted victims were in critical condition. 114 victims were minors where five was medium and two were major incidents.
The two major fire mishaps took place at Bowenpally and RTC Cross roads, while 56 minor mishaps took place in Hyderabad on Thursday.
