Hyderabad: A CCS (Central Crime Station) team of city police on Saturday arrested two accused for their involvement in burglary in their uncle’s locked house at Akbarbagh in Malakpet.

According to the police, Azeem Ahmed Siddiqui (19) and Mohammed Abdul Qavi alias Sohail (23), both students and residents of Malakpet were friends. Azeem, a notorious chain-snatcher, was involved in eight offences during 2012 under different police stations, along with other accomplices.

However, during interrogation, he confessed to have committed theft in his uncle Tajamul Ahmed’s house about a year ago, along with his friend Mohammed Abdul Qavi.

Both used to visit the house of Tajamul Ahmed frequently. Both hatched a plan to commit theft in the house of his uncle who kept gold ornaments in his house and left for Saudi along with his family members for livelihood.
