In a gruesome incident, a 14-year-old boy lost his right forearm and suffered injuries in five fingers of his left hand, when a bomb exploded in his hands at Audireddypalli in Mydukur mandal of Kadapa district on Monday. 

Mydukur (Kadapa): In a gruesome incident, a 14-year-old boy lost his right forearm and suffered injuries in five fingers of his left hand, when a bomb exploded in his hands at Audireddypalli in Mydukur mandal of Kadapa district on Monday.

According to police, Prasad, of Audireddypalli went for grazing goats near his village and picked up a ball-shaped object found on the ground out of curiosity. However, the object exploded when he removed wires attached to it. The impact severed his right forearm and five fingers of his left hand were also damaged in the incident.

After hearing the sound of explosion, the villagers rushed to the spot and shifted the boy to a hospital for treatment and informed police. Police who reached the spot found two more bombs buried in the ground and defused them. They are investigating to know that who had planted the bombs after registering a case.
