Doctor misbehaves with girl in the guise of checking her at Vijayawada hospital
Two sexual assaults on women rocked Government General Hospital in Vijayawada on Thursday. In one incident, a girl along with her mother came to the hospital to check for stomach ache. The doctor, who is also a professor at NTR University of Health Sciences, misbehaved with the girl in the guise of checking her in the surgery department.

Reports say that the girl ran out of the room screaming. The girl's mother lodged a complaint with the other doctors. In a similar incident, a contract employee,who is working at the radiology department in the same hospital, tried to sexually exploit a woman.
Both the issues are said to have been internally solved but it was brought to the notice of Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas who has ordered an inquiry into the incidents.
