Karimnagar: Disheartened when his lover didn’t respond to his calls, a boy ended his life by consuming pesticides at Puttapaka of Manthani mandal on Monday morning.
According to police, Devender, native of Puttapaka and a girl of Nawabpet of Mutharam mandal, were studying degree final year in a college in Begumpet. They were in love for the past two years.
On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, Devender called the girl over phone on Sunday, which was unattended. Upset over this, Devender ended his life.
