RTC driver killed as lorry collides with bus
He was shifted to Government General Hospital in Kurnool for medical treatment while body of Ram Shankar Reddy for post-mortem. The police registered a case against lorry driver. Ram Shankar Reddy is survived by wife and two children.
Kurnool: One person died and the other sustained injuries when a lorry rammed into a RTC bus coming in the opposite direction at Nanoor village under Orvakal police station limits on Thursday.
According to the Orvakal police, RTC bus of Kadapa depot was heading to Hyderabad from Proddutur when the mishap took place. In the accident, bus driver Rama Shankar Reddy (45) died on the spot and another driver Vasudeva Reddy sustained injuries.
