3 persons held for murder

Local police cracked the case of Gangapuram Ramulu’s murder mystery on Wednesday by arresting his close relatives Bhadrayya, Ramulu and Durgayya, who allegedly slit the victim’s throat. It may be recalled that Ramulu was murdered 20 days ago.
Ramayampet: Local police cracked the case of Gangapuram Ramulu’s murder mystery on Wednesday by arresting his close relatives Bhadrayya, Ramulu and Durgayya, who allegedly slit the victim’s throat. It may be recalled that Ramulu was murdered 20 days ago.
According to the police, the motive behind the murder was his refusal to repay a loan of Rs.10,000 to his relatives.
The investigation done by Circle Inspector of Police Nandishwar Reddy revealed that Bhadrayya, who is a co-brother of Ramulu, and his brother (also identified as Ramulu) besides Durgayya, as part of a conspiracy to go ahead with the murder, after consuming liquor along with the victim.
After getting intoxicated, they cut his throat which resulted in his instantaneous death. The police arrested the three accused.
