According to police, Habeeba Fathima on July 19 complained that she was harassed by her in-laws, for giving birth to a baby girl even after the Baba said that she would deliver a baby boy. She said that her husband divorced her on this ground.

During investigation, it was found that the in-laws including, her father-in-law, Md Sadiq (55), a resident of Moghalpura also harassed her by insisting that she should give birth to a baby boy. Her in-laws, seeking remedy, took her to Shaik Abdul Raheem alias Bhai Miya (68), in the same locality after her husband left for Abu Dhabi.

In her complaint, she alleged that the ‘black magician’ touched her indecently. Later, he asked her to apply oil on her stomach, so that she conceives baby boy. She informed to her husband, but the process continued and on one occasion she refused to visit Bhai Miya, as the black-magician continued to misbehave with her.

In the month of February, her sister-in-law, Wasima alias Saba cut her hair to half the size by saying that she would look trendy. However, her hair was handed over to black magician.

In the meantime, the complainant gave birth to a female child. For which, the in-laws blamed her and alleged that it had happened as she failed to apply the oil provided by Bhai Miya.
