Kodad: Kodad police arrested 11 persons for peddling Gutka and seized lakhs worth contraband. Producing the arrested before the media at Kodad DSP Office, Suryapet Superintendent of Police Prakash Jadav informed that on a tip off, the police teams conducted sudden simultaneous raids at Komarabanda village and various places in Kodad town on Wednesday and seized Rs 1.75 lakh worth Gutka stuffed in five bags.
The SP advised the Gutka suppliers and traders to stop their illegal business immediately, otherwise stern action would be taken against them.Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramana Reddy, Circle Inspector Rajitha, SI Mahipal Reddy and others attended the press meet.
