Hyderabad: An Intermediate second year student died of heart attack while writing exam at Paradise centre under Ramgopalpet police station limits on Saturday morning. According to the police, M Gopi Raju (18), the second-year student of a government junior college at YMCA, Secunderabad, was appearing for the examination at Sri Chaitanya College in Secunderabad. Gopi reached his exam centre with two of his friends in the morning.

According police, Raju took some medicine before going into the examination since he was suffering from mild chest pain. His friends Mahesh and Venkatesh accompanied Gopi to reach the examination hall. He collapsed suddenly when he was writing the exam. The staff in the examination hall shifted the student to nearby private hospital where he was declared brought dead.

A case was registered and the deceased has been shifted to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem. Doctors confirmed Gopi succumbed to heart stroke. A pall of gloom descended at the Gandhi hospital as the relatives and his classmates were seen sobbing on passing away of the student at such a young age.
