Abhyunnathi Trust's gesture to bone cancer patient

Rampachodavaram: A poor woman, Kora Easwari, belonging to Devipatnam in the Agency area in East Godavari district, has been suffering from bone cancer for the last 12 years. Being financially weak, she was in no position to afford the treatment. However, she got financial assistance from a donor at Rampachodavaram on Friday. Rampachodavaram Sub-Collector Gandham Chandrudu, who came to know about the ailment of Easwari through the media, responded quickly and urged the donors to provide financial assistance to her. Director of Abhyunnathi Trust, Kalyana Chakravarthi, donated Rs 50,000 towards medical expenses through the Sub-Collector. The Sub-Collector said that the patient would get treatment at NIMS in Hyderabad and that he would send a Primary Health Centre (PHC) worker along with Easwari. He said he would write to the NIMS director to provide good treatment for Kora Easwari.
