Poor Show By AP in CBSE Class XII. Andhra Pradesh students put a poor show in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class XII examinations results of Chennai region that were declared on Monday.

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh students put a poor show in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class XII examinations results of Chennai region that were declared on Monday. Of the five states and three union territories in the Chennai region, Daman & Diu topped with 100 per cent pass percentage while AP stood at seventh position with the pass percentage of 92.47 per cent followed by Andman & Nicobar Islands with 74.69 per cent. The results are available on www.results.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in.

Once again girls have outshined boys in Andhra Pradesh with pass percentage of 94.45 while boys secured 91.13 per cent in Andhra Pradesh.

A total of 45,064 students have appeared for the examination from Chennai region. The pass percentage of the region is 92.89 against last year’s 91.83 per cent, i.e. there an increase of 1.6 per cent this year.

“The result sheets have been dispatched to the out station schools can collect them. The candidates who wish to apply for verification/re-checking of marks and register for compartmental examination may visit board’s website for details,” said D T Sudharsan Rao.
