ALRR Fights High Fee in Colleges Sans Facilities. ‘We are also joining the fight against high fee in colleges that have no basic facilities for intermediate students, and we have taken an oath not to charge exorbitant fee to intermediate students said Dr. Madhava Rao the secretary of ALRR Junior College, Nadergul, Hyderabad today in a press release.

Nadergul: ‘We are also joining the fight against high fee in colleges that have no basic facilities for intermediate students, and we have taken an oath not to charge exorbitant fee to intermediate students said Dr. Madhava Rao the secretary of ALRR Junior College, Nadergul, Hyderabad today in a press release. ‘There are many colleges in twin cities that flout the norms of Board of Intermediate Education. Many colleges are housed in dark and narrow classrooms with no room for the students to breath, many colleges do not have proper library, laboratory, sports, and games facilities, many colleges do not follow teaching schedules strictly and create stress on the students’ Dr. Rao said.

The Anantha Lakshmi Rama Rao Junior College(ALRR) Nadergul, in Saroor Nagar mandal has been established with a purpose to recognise the learning needs of adolescents. Intermediate students are adolescents, and they are adults when they left the college after completion of intermediate course. This is the crucial time in any person’s life and therefore needs to be dealt with carefully and empathetically. Dr. Rao added. Not recognising this, many colleges are focusing only on securing marks and grades, and not allowing the students reasonable time for overall growth, personality development, communication, and employability skills development, and ironically, they are charging exorbitant fee which many middle and lower middle class parents could not afford. While payment of high fee at the cost of freedom to the child to grow has become a status symbol to some parents, for some it has become a nightmare, Dr. Rao felt.

In their college, Dr. Rao said that they have excellent environments, well-trained teachers, spacious classrooms, and minimum number of students in a classroom and more focus on overall growth of adolescents. He has invited all those who are sufferers of high and guaranteed that their college would not charge exorbitant fee.
