Sports meet at HBS, The two-day Intramural Sports Meet of Hyderabad Business School (HBS), Gitam University, “Lakshya-2014”, was inaugurated on Monday at HBS Campus.
Hyderabad: The two-day Intramural Sports Meet of Hyderabad Business School (HBS), Gitam University, “Lakshya-2014”, was inaugurated on Monday at HBS Campus. The torch was lit by Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Prof. R Siva Kumar, Pro-VC, Gitam University, Hyderabad, Prof. N Siva Prasad, Director-Campus, and Prof. SS Prasada Rao, Dean & Director, HBS, and was carried around the grounds by relay runners, formally marked the inaugural of this annual sports celebration.
Speaking on this occasion, Prof. Prasada Rao exhorted the MBA students to keep themselves fit physically and mentally at all times. “Active and regular participation in sports and games gives one a positive and healthy outlook towards life. Sports reduce stress and aid in right decision making. They also break the ice between the junior and seniors, and promote team spirit,” he said.
