University of Hyderabad Faculty Awarded. Dr PSV S Sai Prasad, Assistant Professor, School of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has recently been conferred with the Best PhD Thesis Award.

Hyderabad: Dr PSV S Sai Prasad, Assistant Professor, School of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has recently been conferred with the Best PhD Thesis Award. Dr Sai Prasad participated in the contest organised by Indian Society for Rough Sets on the eve of Rough set day celebrations at the first International Conference on Rough Sets and Knowledge Technologies 2014 (ICRSKT 2014) organised at JNTU, Hyderabad.
The scholars who obtained their PhD from any Indian University or Institute on Rough Sets Theory/Applications of Rough Sets were eligible to participate in this contest. Dr Sai Prasad received the award along with a cash prize of Rs 10,000 from Prof. Pawan Lingras of the Saint Mary's University, Canada.
