ICFAI signs MoU with National Law School of India. The Faculty of Law, ICFAI University, Hyderabad has entered into an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, (5 year course), the first National Law School in India.
Hyderabad: The Faculty of Law, ICFAI University, Hyderabad has entered into an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, (5 year course), the first National Law School in India. Both the universities agreed to join hands for a variety of academic and research activities that will help students pursuing Law.The MoU was signed at a ceremony held at the ICFAI University Campus in Hyderabad by Prof J Mahender Reddy, Vice Chancellor, ICFAI University and Prof R Venkat Rao, Vice-Chancellor, National Law School of India University.
Commenting on the occasion, Prof Mahender Reddy of ICFAI said, “We are very pleased to note that the academic collaboration will immensely help both the institutes in advancing the knowledge and contribute to build the intellectual capital in the legal course. The objectives of the MoU are academic collaboration that will encompass exchange of students and members of faculty between the two universities and other academic activities, research and publications. In addition to this, active efforts will be made to develop joint training and research programs that will be pursued in a collaborative spirit.”
Addressing the gathering, Prof Venkata Rao of NLSIU said, “ICFAI University has been identified by us as an institution of strategic significance for academic collaboration. We will continue to work on the lines of synergistic-symbiotic relationship and will fulfill the academic requirements of both the universities.” Prof Y Haragopal Reddy, Advisor, ICFAI University and Prof V Hemalatha Devi, Dean, Faculty of Law, senior faculty members of ICFAI University were also present.
