RV Chandravadhan, IAS, the keynote speaker said “Although the engineering colleges in the state started on a bright note, their ascent was discontinued with three casualties; the first casualty has been to compromise the standards, the second casualty has been lack of trained faculty, and the third is the inability to provide adequate infrastructure required to run an engineering institution”.

He further added that certain minority institutions in the city, like MJCET, have managed to maintain high standards in the field of education. RV Chandravadhan urged the students to “not just be an engineer but a pioneer engineer and a role model from day one” warning them of the rising attrition levels in their profession.

Such tremendous research in key areas requires more funds from the central government,” he added.

He said the goals of Telangana CM could be achieved if the government focused on lower age groups at rural level, groom them as they grow up to help them outperform the competition when they graduate.Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society (SUES) Vice Chairman Mohammed Waliullah, Treasurer Mir Akbar Ali Khan, Naseem Nathani, Ibrahim Ali Siddiqui, Mohammed Jaffar, Anupama Koneru, Vibha Ashathana, Amir Javeed were present at the event.
