Hyderabad: It becomes necessary for today’s practicing engineers and students to master not only the theoretical concepts but also the skill of real-time implementation techniques using the embedded processors. A three-day intensive course on ‘Embedded Processors and Applications’ is being organised by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) of CBIT (Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology) in coordination with RCI-DRDO.


The inaugural function was held on Tuesday in the seminar hall of CBIT. The chief guest of the function Hara Prasad, Scientist-G, DLRL has delivered a keynote address highlighting the importance of electronic systems with embedded processors. The scientists from RCI-DRDO, faculty members of various engineering colleges in the city and PG students attended the programme.


Chenna Kesava Rao, Principal, CBIT, Koteshwara Rao, HOD, ECE, CBIT, Subba Rao, Professor, CBIT and Sanka Kishore, Scientist-G, RCI, addressed the gathering and briefed about the three-day course. This intensive course will conclude on April 30, 2015 where application of these processors in military and consumer electronics will be discussed.
