WARANGAL: The examination of second year MBBS students in Telangana was cancelled by the Kaloji Nrayan Rao University of Health sciences (KNRUHS) On Monday after different sets of question papers
were dispatched by the authorities to few colleges.

Medical students of the university call it as the mere negligence of the university authorities and it
resulted in angusih among the students as the goof up was only detected after all the students appeared
for the paper.

The MBBS second year students were appearing for the pharamcology paper on Monday. Acooeding to
the university officials, some medico students recieves Set A and some Set B thereby causing confusion
among college managements. Realizing all this confusion drama made on part of the university
authorities, the examination staff alerted the higher authorities.

There should be only a single set of paper that has to be distrubuted by the university. while three sets
are printed, only one has to dispatched to all colleges. However, one set was dispatched to Osmania
Medical College and the other to Chalmeda Anand Rao Institute Of Medical Sciences In Karimnagar
resulting in massive confusion. said G srinivas, advisor of Telangana Junior Doctors Association.
Later, after all the ruckus the University issued a circular to all the colleges declaring that the
pharmacology paper 1 will be reconducted on February 12, 2019 from 10 am to 12pm. Terming it a
techinacal error, the university stated that all colleges must inform students concerned by notifications
and take their signatures on the notice.

Students refused to re- appear for the examination. The students squarely blame the university controller
of examination and refused to give the exam again. We want this exam to be reconsidered and not
cancelled. In our opinion reexamination should be conducted when the paper gets leaked. It might be
because of technical issues but we are the ultimate sufferers. MBBS students issued a letter to the
university authorities stating this.
