"The sky would remain partly cloudy throughout the day. Thundery development may occur in some areas," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 85 percent.
Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.1 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 21.9 degrees Celsius.
