A Trip To Their 20s

You are twenty when you are old enough to develop your intellectual instincts and yet young enough to dream crazy. They say, how you spend your 20’s defines you. It is during the twenties that a person discovers oneself.

Well’ here is a sneak peak into what our present day leaders were up to in their twenties.

NARENDRA MODI:

Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at the age of 8, joined RSS and began attending its local shakhas. Modi has helped his father sell tea at Vadnagar railway station and also worked in the staff canteen of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation until he became a RSS campaigner in 1970.

He then got married at the age of 18 but soon estranged.

XI JINPING:

Son of Xi Zhongxun, xi jinping spent his twenties working in the remote village of Liangjiahe.something intellectual youths did in his time. he pursued his studies in chemical engineering. He also spent time learning peasant virtues in a dug-out cave. Later, he also earned a degree in Marxist theory and ideological education.

BARACK OBAMA:

It was way back in his twenties that, the president of the united states Barack Obama started his public service. Like other boys in their 20’s Barack traveled back to Kenya and went on a spiritual quest.he even indulged in a travel before getting into Harvard law school,1988.Soon after graduating from Columbia University, he helped in rebuilding the low income communities in Chicago.

VLADIMIR PUTIN

In his free time, the president Vladimir putin, trained in the art of judo.The President of Russia aspired to work in intelligence before he even finished college. After securing a degree in law, he went on to work with the state security agencies.

Eventually ,He then worked his way up to the top ranks in the agencies and reportedly spent over a decade working as an intelligence officer.

ANGELA MERKEL:

When just 20, germany’s first female chancellor, Angela Merkel got married to Ulrich. They tied the knot because the German regime allowed people to live together only if they were married.in an attempt to make ends meet and earn her degree she worked as a barmaid.

BENJAMIN NETANYAHU:

Benjamin Netanyahu, prime minister of Israel, joined the Israeli military even before he turned 20. He served as part of the Israel Defense Forces' elite unit and even accompanied the force on the rescue 'Operation Isotope'. However he ,he paused to study architecture and business administration at MIT in the United States.

DAVID CAMERON:

Soon after graduating with a first class honors degree, the Prime minister of the United Kingdom, worked for five years in the research department of the Conservative Party. He was praised as being a 'hardworking and talented researcher'. David was part of the Bullingdon Club, that is famed for its hard drinking and bad behavior.
