Six decades after the creation of Royal Salute to honour Queen Elizabeth II's coronation, Chivas released an astonishing 45-year-old luxury limited edition whiskey. Thousands of miles away, the City of Nizam with such bravura also paid a tribute to such fine marriage- tradition and contemporary.

In Hyderabad, the iconic Taj Krishna has been given the mantle to acknowledge it and curtains were pulled up by eminent whiskey expert Sandeep Arora, director of Spiritual Luxury Living, as he presented the Royal Salute evenings at Firdaus on Friday. The month-long promotion with whiskey paired quintessential Nizam dinners, indeed embodies a luxury dining experience.

With select covers laid out for the evening, guests at the venue can revel in the sensory examination of the rare whiskeys and discover for themselves the hidden flavours.
