BJP's Leaders Star-Studded Campaign for BJP Hyderabad: The state unit of BJP is struggling to find a suitable venue for the public meeting of prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi scheduled to be held here on April 22. Modi will arrive here by a special aircraft. He will reach Nizamabad by a helicopter. He would address his first rally around 11 am. From there, he will proceed to Karimnagar where a meeting is scheduled around 2 pm. At 5 pm, the BJP leader will address a public meeting in Mahabubnagar, followed by a massive public meeting at Hyderabad.

TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu will share the dais with Modi in Hyderabad, while Jana Sena leader Pawan will be accompanying Modi at other meetings and that is where the state unit is facing the problem. The party which anticipates massive gathering in Hyderabad is unable to finalise the venue. It wanted to hold the meeting at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad, but the defence authorities denied it permission. The BJP leaders later opted for Nizam College Grounds though it was much smaller area compared to Parade Grounds, but there too it faced problems with the police refusing permission as the election code is in force.

As the time is running out, T BJP unit president G Kishen Reddy and others are now trying for NTR Stadium, but they feel that from security and traffic point of view it may not be very suitable. The other option left for them is Uppal stadium. Modi’s campaign blitzkrieg marks the arrival of BJP star campaigners. Former party president Nitin Gadkari will campaign on April 23 in Adilabad and Nalgonda districts. Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parikkar and party spokesperson Ravishankar Prasad will campaign in city on April 24. While Parikkar will address a public meeting, Ravishankar Prasad will be meeting lawyers. Sushma Swaraj will campaign on April 25 in Warangal, Bhongir and Medak parliament constituencies. BJP national president Rajnath Singh will campaign in Adilabad, Nizamabad and Warangal on April 26.
