Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu Questions Governor on delay in arresting KVP, questioned Governor E S L Narasimhan why there was delay in arresting KVP Ramachandra Rao, MP, in connection with his involvement in the Titanium case.
Kurnool: Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday questioned Governor E S L Narasimhan why there was delay in arresting KVP Ramachandra Rao, MP, in connection with his involvement in the Titanium case. Addressing road shows and election meetings in the district, Naidu demanded immediate reaction by the Governor in the case. He observed that it was not proper for the Head of State to play politics.
He accused AICC chief Sonia Gandhi of swindling Rs.15 lakh crores and claimed that the rupee value fell because of an inefficient person’s rule. The TDP chief alleged that the Congress had left the Seemandhra people in the lurch following the State’s division. He called upon people to teach a lesson to Sonia Gandhi and ‘bury’ the Congress through votes.
Naidu assured the gathering that TDP after coming to power would ensure industrial development of Seemandhra, build the Gulyam Vedavati project and ensure drinking/irrigation water through Hundri-Neeva. It would waive farmers’ loans, provide free power to them for nine hours and allocate separate budget to agriculture. He claimed that the party had ensured social justice; no other party had given more seats. He criticized YSRCP for giving tickets to only wealthy people and accused Y S Jaganmohan Reddy of trying to ‘loot’ the State with 5,000 bogus signatures. Naidu asserted that if TDP lost the election people would be losers. The party would stand by the minorities even if joined NDA. While expressing confidence of TDP forming government, he said it had allied with BJP for State’s development.
