Hyderabad: It has been four days since polling ended in Telangana. However, there is no respite for mobile phone users from parties, specially Telugu Desam. The trend of parties seeking support of voters, by way of phone calls and messages, is continuing. It has left many red-faced. As soon as a mobile user receives a call from an unrecognized number, the voice-recorded message of a political leader makes one’s ear go abuzz. Some experienced the same on Saturday.

Telangana Voters Still Get Naidu’s Calls

It was Naidu himself urging voters to rally behind his party in the Seemandhra polls. His sincere appeal to voters could be understood, but the TDP think-tank has faltered in its strategy. The yellow brigade is wasting finances and time on T voters when the need is to reach out to those in 13 districts to rally behind the party in May 7 elections.

But, party sources say that there could be some Seemandhra people who are here running small businesses or employed who still have votes in their native villages. Hence the TDP exercise. They agree that the calls were going to all users, because of lack of technology to distinguish Telangana and Seemandhra people.
