Hyderabad: Senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Saturday lashed out at the Congress-led UPA government for its announcement over the appointment of a Commission of Inquiry to probe into the 'Snoopgate' issue allegedly involving Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.The BJP leader said the next government will review all the committees appointed post announcement of the Lok Sabha elections.
An angry Venkaiah Naidu said: “All committees appointed after the announcement of elections will be reviewed. The next government will have every right to review the decisions.” Attacking the Congress leaders, he said they do not have any shame. Venkaiah said that they would be routed in the elections but yet they are shamelessly announcing that they would appoint a sitting judge as a commissioner to inquire into Snoopgate issue.
Replying to a question on the controversy over Narendra Modi's interview to Doordarshan, Venkaiah said the DD had been misused by the ruling Congress. Prasar Bharati has become the Prachar Bharati of Congress, he said. The BJP leader said that the Congress which was unable to answer on the omissions and commissions of the UPA during last decade was indulging in mud-slinging as they cannot debate on governance and corruption.
