A Campaign to Inculcate Leadership Skills. Teach For Change (TFC), a city-based NGO, will teach leadership skills and English in 100 government schools in Hyderabad from Class 6 to 10.
Teach For Change (TFC), a city-based NGO, will teach leadership skills and English in 100 government schools in Hyderabad from Class 6 to 10. The movement is being supported by the State government. Covering 10 schools in the first phase, the initiative was launched by actress and producer Lakshmi Manchu. The first phase of TFC will cover government schools at Bowenpally, Kukatpally, Jubilee Hills, Ameerpet, DK Road, Yousufguda, Hitec City, Banjara Hills, Secunderabad and Madhapur. “Three meritorious students will be chosen from government institutions and sent to residential schools in Tirupati,” Lakshmi said.

TFC CEO Chaitanya MRSK said, “70 per cent of students in the country study in government schools. So our aim is to help in teaching and methodology.”
TFC 2015 will cover 11 mandals which includes Amberpet, Ameerpet, Himayathnagar, Khairatabad, Marredpally, Musheerabad, Nampally, Saidabad, Secunderabad, Shaikpet and Trimulgherry.
