After Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo and Vivo, Chinese smartphone brand Meizu has made its Indian debut with its M1 Note smartphone. The phone will be exclusively available online on Amazon India starting May 20 at 2pm. The company has not disclosed the price of the smartphone but unlike its rivals, Meizu will offer the phone as part of an open sale and will not require pre-registration. It was launched at a starting price of CNY 999 (Rs 10,000, approximately) in China. So we expect a similar price.

Meizu had launched the M1 Note in China in December. The phablet sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920p) display. Powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 64 bit processor and 2GB RAM, the phone is available in 16GB and 32GB storage variants in its home market. It doesn't feature a microSD card and has a 3140mAh battery. It's not clear if Meizu will sell both storage variants of the phone in India.

Meizu M1 Note sports a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. The phone runs Flyme OS 4.0, based on Android 4.4 KitKat. The dual-sim phone supports all major connectivity options and is available in China in green, pink, blue, yellow and white colours. It's not clear if Meizu will see all colour variants of the phone in India, The phone looks very similar to Apple iPhone 5C.
