Sundays wouldn't be much loved and longed for, only if every day in the calendar was marked in red! After having survived a busy, scuttled week full of action, a Sunday comes to one’s rescue to rejuvenate, restore and vivify the decreased oomph of life. A day to dedicate to oneself and beloveds by investing on experiences – say, a late morning drive with the right company alongside, and to get your taste buds treated with some luscious and out of the ordinary flavours, purely to have them dance in your platter!

One such a delightful experience is all geared up to be enlivened at The Mélange, Hotel Golkonda, Hyderabad. The restaurant introduces the Sunday Cruise Brunch, a sail through the seas of different flavours and authentic cuisines, touching upon all the continents of the globe. Every week, the cruise subtly visits a continent, virtually introducing a person to the delicacies and savoury victuals of that land.

The live counter houses a variety of pan Indian and western eateries, which doesn’t limit itself to one region. From the very local Spicy Aaloo Tikki to the intercontinental Penne Pasta with some finger licking red sauce, the world would just nicely find some place in your palette!

Some must try things while on the cruise are Malabar Chicken Curry, Gil-e-Firdosh, Angoori Rasmalai, Chocolate Mousse, Mutton Dum Biryani and the Jalfrezi Paneer. These choicest delicacies from various parts of the planet will only leave a person craving for more – a pity if he’s low on appetite but loves food!

Commenting on the launch of the event on June 21, Vipul Bhargava, General Manager, Golkonda Hotel said that they have organised the Sunday Cruise Brunch to serve and offer the quintessential taste of authentic pan continental dishes to their customers, and have them spend some quality time with family, also which is easy on the pocket.

“To cater to all age groups, we have plans of setting up live music, an ink tattoo stall, colour paintings to engage kids, fortune telling etc, which are all a part of the package with absolutely no extra or hidden costs,” he added. The ambience of the place for a lazy lunch perfectly complements the food that is served. Smiles that greet plus the aroma of food with some music playing in the backdrop is all one would need to get lost in the mélange of sensuous delights in the world of cuisines.
