“I feel wonderful coming to a theatre and watching my favourite superstar on screen. It is not every day that we get an opportunity like this. I am inspired by the character played by Salman Khan where he fights his limitations to achieve what he wants to,” said an ecstatic Deepak Sherawat.

Salman Khan had founded the VEER initiative along with the Thums Up last year to empower the differently abled by providing them with the right set of skills. After watching the movie, the differently abled, referred to as VEERs, felt that the storyline of the movie where Salman helps a Pakistani kid was lovely.

They also felt that the character of a differently-abled girl was portrayed appropriately. What excited them the most was when the girl’s character, portrayed by actress Harshaali Malhotra, gets her voice back at the end of the movie. “We felt awesome at that moment. That boosted our confidence,” said one of the VEERs.
