Later, he developed a thing for food, its preparation, concoctions and cuisines which led him to pursue Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Hyderabad. Thumma says, ‘Cooking is not a job but a passion.

Everybody’s essential component of life is food and it has to be the way you like it: spicy, classic, simple or neutral. Cooking as a career has made me famous and this is what I love to do. I started the online recipe site, vahrevah.com, which inspired youngsters to take up cooking as a hobby and profession. My recipes clicked because, I strive in bringing international cuisine closer to the Telugu recipes to suit the taste of our people.”

“People who visit other places should stop looking for their native cuisine availability. Tasting and relishing on diversified flavors and varieties in food of regions is the best thing one can do to themselves. Traveling, holidaying, touring places should definitely involve tasting new varieties as many as possible. That is why they say, Food is the purpose of life and one who can, should enjoy it to the fullest,” he added.
