LG unveils mid-range Max 3G smartphone with 5-inch display. The South Korean electronics manufacturer, LG has introduced its mid-ranged smartphone, LG Max in the Indian Smartphone market. The device is priced at Rs. 10,990, however, it is not listed at any online retail portal or local retail store. The company has unveiled the smartphone in Gold, Titan and White color variants.

Also, it will be available in Single SIM and Dual Sim variants as well! Commenting on the launch, Amit Gujral, Marketing head, LG Mobiles India said, “Most of the people who use the Internet on smartphones use 3G services as 4G is still at a nascent stage in our country. Keeping this in mind, LG has launched LG Max as we are sure that this smartphone will offer unprecedented value to 3G consumers. This smartphone offers great balance of form, function and price and we expect it to be even more successful than its predecessor.”

The handset will be running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, out-of-the-box, which is supported by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor that is clubbed with a 1GB of RAM. For storage purposes, the LG Max allows the users to store up to 8GB of data onboard, meanwhile they can use a microSD card up to 32 GB as an expandability option.

The handset sports 5-inch FWVGA display with 854×480 pixels of resolution and a 5 megapixel of user-facing webcam above it. Meanwhile, the back features an 8-megapixel of primary image snapper featured with an LED flash. It also boasts a 2540 mAh of battery, under the hood. The droid phone comes with 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm stereo audio jack and Micro-USB 2.0, as connectivity options.
