Facebook and Twitter are flooded with condolences for the ‘Missile Man’ of India, in the form of messages, inspirational quotes, sketches and other novel ways. Many youngsters paid glowing tributes to the `Great Dreamer' who is hailed as a ‘People’s President’, highlighting on how they got inspired by his speeches and vision.
“The only time I could answer confidently to the question who is the President of India was when it was APJ Abdul Kalam,’’ says film actor Nani, in his tribute to the great scientist. Many youngsters echoed the same saying everybody will think of Abdul Kalam when the question of President arises.’’
“My humble request and suggestion is to print his image on our currency notes as a real tribute to him,” said artist Hameez Sahari, who posted a specimen of Rs 1,000 note bearing the image of Kalam.
