St Paul’s basketball tourney gets off to a thrilling start

The Rev Brother Jagan Mohan Reddy and Rev Brother Ravi Kumar 1st Memorial Inter-school Basketball Tournament-2015 got off to an exciting start when Geetanjali Devashala School, Secunderabad, prevailed over St Joseph’s Public School, King Koti by a narrow 7-6 margin in the Hyderguda premises of St Paul’s High School here on Wednesday.

The Rev Brother Jagan Mohan Reddy and Rev Brother Ravi Kumar 1st Memorial Inter-school Basketball Tournament-2015 got off to an exciting start when Geetanjali Devashala School, Secunderabad, prevailed over St Joseph’s Public School, King Koti by a narrow 7-6 margin in the Hyderguda premises of St Paul’s High School here on Wednesday.


Earlier, the three-day tournament was inaugurated by veteran national spiker G R Kiran, Senior Public Relations Manager, TSRTC, who is also an alumni of the host school. Principal of St Paul’s High School Rev Brother Sudhakar Reddy, Vice-principal Rev Brother Rayappa Reddy and senior Brother Berchmans graced the occasion.


In a brief address Kiran exhorted the students to stay physically fit by taking up an outdoor sport, which would also make them mentally stronger and help brave future challenges. According to the organisers 37 premier schools from twin cities are participating in the tournament. Results second round-Boys:
