Dr A Saibaba Goud, Founder Chairman of Devnar Foundation for the Blind, said that the organisation is proposing to start an engineering college for the blind and appealed to the government to extend the required support.
IT Minister KT Rama Rao said that the school has been doing yeomen service for over 24 years and assured the required support for the foundation’s developmental activities. He also agreed to sanction Rs 10 lakh for installing a computer science lab at the school and provide uniforms to all the students at his personal expense at a cost of Rs 3 lakh.
