The Minister of Excise and Prohibition, Sports and Youth Services T Padma Rao Goud inaugurated development activities in the Addagutta Division on Thursday.

Works inaugurated include laying of CC roads opposite Banjara Complex, near CPI flag post, opposite Masjid Main Road and in Venkat Nagar; re-carpeting of BT road (Ganga Jamuna); construction of retaining wall and formation of road in Venkat Nagar and inauguration of power bore and Sintex water tank at Sasthri Nagar opposite the MRO Office.

Speaking on the inauguration, Padma Rao Goud said that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is very keen on Greater Hyderabad Development and that he is striving hard for development of Hyderabad in all aspects.

He said that the Government has sanctioned 2,000 auto trolleys and 44 lakh dustbins for keeping the city clean and added, “The Government has sanctioned Rs 200 crore for civil works identified for the Swachh Hyderabad programme. The GHMC officials will execute the works, soon.”

“LEDs will replace all street lights and every household in the 12 merged Municipalities will get tap connections,” said Padma Rao and added

TRS local leaders and the GHMC and Water Works officials were present during the inauguration.
