As part of the Navy Week Celebrations, the Indian Navy conducted a painting competition for school children of Hyderabad and Secunderabad in co-ordination with Jawahar Bal Bhavan at Public Gardens.

Around 525 children from 45 schools participated in the competition aimed to catch children’s views on contemporary topics through their art. A drawing and painting kit, participation certificate, motivational literature, cap and snacks pack were given to all the participants. A panel of judges will select top three paintings in each category, which will be awarded on December 3 at Navy House in Secunderabad.
