VH faults BC creamy layer concept
Stating that implementation of BC creamy-layer concept was not correct, Rajya Sabha member and Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has said he has already urged the Centre to increase the BCs income limit from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 15 lakh for the implementation of BCs creamy-layer rule.
Hyderabad: Stating that implementation of BC creamy-layer concept was not correct, Rajya Sabha member and Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has said he has already urged the Centre to increase the BCs’ income limit from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 15 lakh for the implementation of BCs’ creamy-layer rule.
`Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Sunday, Hanumantha Rao said the BC Commission too responded to his suggestion in a positive manner.
“I will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on BC Creamy-Layer issue and if necessary, will launch a agitation for implementation of creamy-layer along with BC unions”, he warned. He also exuded confidence that the Congress would sweep the ensuing GHMC elections.
