The Kalamandir Foundation celebrated its sixth anniversary at Cybercity convention centre by carrying out activities such as blood camps, planting saplings, donating to the needy and by giving merit scholarships to their staff’s children.

The Kalamandir Foundation celebrated its sixth anniversary at Cybercity convention centre by carrying out activities such as blood camps, planting saplings, donating to the needy and by giving merit scholarships to their staff’s children.

As a part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative Kalamandir’s CSR division provided merit scholarship worth Rs 30 lakh to the children; pledged to plant 20,000 tree saplings and support Telangana government’s initiative ‘Haritha Haram’; donated Rs 25,000 to Cherish foundation, that takes care of orphans and street children, 15 poor weavers were given Rs 20,000 each and funds were donated to Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial trust.

Smitha Sabharwal, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) commissioner B Janardhan Reddy, Dr Ghazal Srinivas, Dr Gurava Reddy, actors Sundeep Kishan, Naga Shouraya, Raj Tarun and Abhijeet along with actresses Aksha, Adithi Singh, Sony Charishta and a few others were present on the occasion.

Director of Kalamandir, Kalamandir Kalyan said, “A thought of paying back to the society has lead to the noble initiation of ‘Kalamandir Foundation’. We take immense pleasure to be a part of ‘Telanganu Ku haritha haram’ initiated by minister KT Rama Rao.

We are also happy to increase the merit scholarship from 20 lakh in the last year to 30 lakh this year. I would like to thank Dr Devamani Hanisha for conducting an extensive blood camp for Kalamandir Foundation.”
