Hyderabad: “Mathematical Sciences is the most needed subject to be known in today’s world. Students should never ignore its importance because this is the subject which acts like a backbone to most of the top companies in the world almost every industry works because of this subject,” said Prof Veera Bhadra Rao, Mathematics professor at a two day lecture on ‘Mathematical Sciences in Digitalization’ organised St Joseph Degree and Pg College with the help of Indian National Academy from Bangalore and New Delhi and The National Academy of Sciences from Allahabad.
“Mathematical science is the heart of any algorithm and programme. Everything has turned digitised and is just a click away .Be it scientific or non scientific arena, students with this subject knowledge makes them more employable” He added.
Talking about the contribution of Indian mathematicians to the world Prof Veera Bhadra Rao, shared, “A country like America has mastered the subject from the Indian professors. So, India has the best givers to the present generation. Students should concentrate on this subject right from childhood and the subject must be imparted in the right manner”.
About 150 students participated in the lecture series on the first day of the event. Topological dynamics in three problems of digitalisation, sentiment analysis/opinion mining, satellite remote sensing applications, computational physics and the application of mathematical techniques, data science-its relevance and importance and the importance of statistics for digital communications are the core topics to be discussed in the lecture.
