As part of this Dr Dimple Grover, Professor from ASCI and Dr GB Reddy, Director, Foreign Relations Department, Osmania University highlighted the importance of vigilance and eradication of corruption to ensure economic growth, social justice and equity. 

Sreenidhi Institute of Science & Technology organised a one-day ‘Vigilance Awareness’ programme on Thursday.

As part of this Dr Dimple Grover, Professor from ASCI and Dr GB Reddy, Director, Foreign Relations Department, Osmania University highlighted the importance of vigilance and eradication of corruption to ensure economic growth, social justice and equity.

Prof Grover exhorted on the students to develop integrity, values and ethics in our citizens. “Every organisation has to ensure accountability, fairness and transparency and develop goodwill amongst all the stakeholders,” she said.

AK Mishra, GM of PGCIL spoke about the need for eradicating corruption in all walks of life. “Every individual should question to himself with regard to the undue favour that he would like to have from a decision making authority is going to effect the interest of anybody else.

He has to keep himself in others position and visualize himself as a person disadvantaged because of favour he went to somebody else,” he said.

There was huge participation of students and faculty of about 10 Engineering and Management colleges across the city and Ranga Reddy and Medchal districts for competitions. Prizes and cash awards were given away to winner.
