Sircilla: Deputy Inspector-General of Police Ravi Varma on Monday handed over swiping machines to traffic police in Vemulawada for the first time in the State. He said district SP Vishwajeet had introduced the system of receiving penalties for traffic violations through credit/debit cards on an experimental basis. The swiping machines would facilitate collection of the penalty amounts.
