TDP corporators dare Mayor

With the roads of the city becoming deplorable after every shower, the vehicular traffic that traverse these roads face a tough time. The GHMC corporators belonging to TDP party visitied major roads, on Tuesday, that come under the corporation’s purview; with a view to acquaint themselves with the pathetic conditions.

Inspecting the roads were Premdass Goud, E S Raj Jitendernath, Muta Padma, Saritha Govind, Hemalatha Yadav, Bhanu Prasad, Ashok Goud and Singireddy Srinivas. After inspecting the roads, they condemned the new rules passed by traffic authorities of imposing of heavy fines and penalties. The corporators said that the traffic police has all the time in the world to impose penalties for violating traffic rules like jumping signals and stop signs. They also said that the police were chasing vehicles as if they were trapping militants.
They further questioned the action of levying heavy traffic fines when there is hardly any parking space in the city.

The corporators further demanded the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and the Commissioner of GHMC to ply on the major roads for a day to acknowledge the plight of the common man. They even dared them to reach their destinations safely without any fractures, back pain or spondylitis the corporators. If that happened they promised to hand in their resignations to the Mayor.
