A Canvas of Emotions, ‘Stream Revealed’ Exhibition. As a group of artists across the country showcased their painting in an exhibition titled ‘Stream Revealed’, art aficionados explore different aspects of life on canvas.

A wide set of such fragments, that reflects various expressions of life emphasising human emotions are displayed on paintings at the Ailamma Art Gallery. The art gallery is conducting their second art exhibition titled ‘Stream Revealed’, a collective art work of 18 artists.
“Well, I love to explore figurative painting. In my painting, I have focussed on facial expressions of women and used different elements to highlight their freedom of mind. For instance in a painting, I have used dragonfly sitting on her head, as a sign of freedom,” explained T Shivaji, one of the painters.
The exhibition has a collection of art works that includes various mediums including oil, acrylic on canvas, mix media, pencil and charcoal on paper etc exploring various complex situations of life in a simply manner. Artists like B Karuna Sukka, Bhargavi, D Hanumanth Rao, Epuri Raju, Farzoona Khanoon, G K Shravan Kumar, Sreekanth Babu, Sumona Nair, to name a few, participated in the exhibition. As a certain culture reflects on his painting, the painter Guduri Prabhakar Rao shared, “Hailing from Telangana region, I grew up in a certain culture. Since I have explored more on painting that reflects our culture, in this collection of painting, I worked on female lifestyle.”
Ailamma Art Gallery, a newly opened platform for artists to showcase their art work is located to Bagh Lingampally. It has been named after Ailamma, a symbol of revolt who hailed from Palakurty, Nalgonda district. She stood firm against landlord oppression during Nizam’s rule in late 1940s. Popularly known as ‘Chakali Ailamma’, the lady is an inspiration to thousands. The exhibition will be open for public till November 26.
