City Boy Wins National Level Hacking Contest, Ethical hacker and Rayaprolu Krishnachaitanya. The IT specialist, Chaitu RK has worked as a vulnerability research analyst and penetration tester in his previous organisations.

Ethical hacker and Hyderabadi boy Rayaprolu Krishnachaitanya (Chaitu RK) walked away with a grand prize of Rs 5 lakhs in Bangalore, on Wednesday, after winning the EMC Defenders League. EMC Defenders League, which featured over 4,000 contestants across India, is a Hackathon contest focused on Cyber Security. The Hackathon’s Grand Finale hosted 30 finalists. Chaitu RK was declared the winner from among many such brilliant minds of the country.

EMC Defenders League is a famous security challenge held in India by EMC Corporation, to reward the skills and knowledge on real-world internet security. It is a part of the company’s efforts in the ecosystem to share expertise on the critical subject of cyber security and surveillance, and establish the foundation for future discourses.

After three weeks of intense online challenges, the event culminated in a face-off. The 30 finalists were an amalgamation of students and experienced developers from the industry. All the 30 finalists received an iPad Mini tablet.
