The Great Indian Ice Cream Contest 2013, an all India Ice Cream competition was held at New Delhi under the aegis of Indian Dairy Association. It was organised by DUPONT at Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, New Delhi. 74 Ice Cream companies across India had participated and nearly 448 samples were presented.
‘Scoops Ice Creams Company’, a city-based company bagged the India’s ‘Best in Class’ award for Premium Ice creams in recognition of the commitment towards excellence, innovation and high quality standards in Ice creams. Scoops also bagged two gold medals for standard Vanilla (FD) and Premium Ice cream Category. Apart from that Scoops also bagged the silver medal for the best standard Vanilla Ice cream and the Bronze medal for innovation in ice creams.
Govind Das Shah and Sudhir Shah from ‘Scoops Ice Cream’ said, “Scoops is the only Company in India which received four Awards for the different categories for the year 2013. The Great Indian Ice Cream Contest idea was organised to play a longer role in the success and growth of Dairy and Ice Cream industry in India.”

1. Best in Class - For the Best Premium Ice cream in India.
2. Gold Medal - For the Best Standard Vanilla (FD).
3. Gold Medal - For the Best Premium Ice cream.
4. Silver Medal - For the best Standard Vanilla Ice cream in the Country.
5. Bronze Medal - For the Innovation Ice cream category in the Country.
