A march was organised by students from Afghanistan at the OU Arts College on Thursday in the wake of 31 Hazaras who were recently kidnapped by the ISIS in their homeland. The students, who are studying various courses in Osmania University, demanded the Afghan government to work towards their release.It’s been more than 40 days that the Hazaras were kidnapped for reasons unknown.

The students, who are studying various courses in Osmania University, demanded the Afghan government to work towards their release.It’s been more than 40 days that the Hazaras were kidnapped for reasons unknown.

Ali, a psychology student says, “We hope that our protest catches on like wildfire and spreads across our country so that the Afghan government can act fast because they are turning a blind eye to all the protests that are taking place in many parts of the world.” Sai Reddy, a constable present during the protest, said, “We can empathise with the students because they have come here to study far away from their country. We can understand how it feels when something goes wrong in their homeland. We will extend our support in any possible way to help the students.”
