Park Hyatt Hyderabad in association with Gallery Space and Project 511 will inaugurate a group art show titled ‘Doyenne’ on March 8 to pay tribute to women as a part of International Women’s Day. Artists from India and Vietnam will participate in the art expo.    

Park Hyatt Hyderabad in association with Gallery Space and Project 511 will inaugurate a group art show titled ‘Doyenne’ on March 8 to pay tribute to women as a part of International Women’s Day. Artists from India and Vietnam will participate in the art expo.

On March 8 an interactive workshop will be conducted from 11am to 1pm and artworks will be created by the artists from Project 511. These art works will be auctioned on the same evening at 7pm proceeds of which would go towards supporting the schools under Project 511.

Artworks of some renowned artists also auctioned as a part of Project 511. This art works will be curated by Wahida Ahmed and are on display until April 9. Project 511 was launched in September 2003 and has evolved from an ‘Infrastructure Maintenance Project’ to an ‘Integrated School Development Program’ aiming to improve basic facilities. It focuses on hard infrastructure like constructing school buildings, additional classrooms, sanitation and seating.

We are proud to initiate an event of this scale for the very first time in Hyderabad; we would like to pay tribute to women from all walks of life, this Women’s Day, in the most universal form of expression, Art!” said, Thomas Abraham, General Manager, Park Hyatt Hyderabad.

This initiative not only aims at contributing to the Project 511 schools but also gives a huge platform to the women artists to promote and showcase their talent. “On behalf of Project 511, I want to thank Park Hyatt Hyderabad and Gallery Space for choosing us as the beneficiary for this fund raiser,” said Atin Gupta, Chairman HRT 8.
