This event was a part of the outreach programme organised by the International Congress on Cell Biology 2018,Hyderabad.
This was the first-ever joint meeting of FCB (International Federation for Cell Biology), APOCB (Asian Pacific Organization for Cell Biology), and the Indian Society of Cell Biology (ISCB). The ICCB was organized by Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, (CCMB). Principal Prof. Y .Ashok, appreciated the initiative and applauded the scientists for sharing their knowledge .
There was an overwhelming response of 100 participants that included teachers and students of various institutions in twin cities. Teachers and students had a chance to interact with two eminent scientists, Prof. Margarete Heck and Dr. Mukund Thattai, who shared their personal journeys in Biology and spread the excitement of science. The teachers and students actively interacted with speakers addressing issues related to biology and its prospects.
