A 45-year-old women, Mohammedi Begum of Hyderabad who was stuck in Pakistan for the past 10 years and is finally rescued. Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj involved in the case for two times in one year and directed Indian High Commission in Pakistan to rescue Mohammedi Begum.
Errakunta Barkas: A 45-year-old women, Mohammedi Begum of Hyderabad who was stuck in Pakistan for the past 10 years and is finally rescued. Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj involved in the case for two times in one year and directed Indian High Commission in Pakistan to rescue Mohammedi Begum.
Akber, Father of Mohammedi Begum, speaking to The Hans India said, “After 13 months of process my daughter returned to India from Pakistan, it's like a festival in my home, we are feeling very happy and I would like to thank MEA Sushma Swaraj, because of her my daughter returned to India from Pakistan.
My daughter's marriage was performed in year 1996 and she was taken to Muscat and from there to Hyderabad and again to Pakistan by her husband, he cheated all of us and after many years my daughter returned back.”
Hajera Begum, Mother of Mohammedi Begum said, " I'm very happy that my daughter returned to us, I would like to thank MEA Sushma Swaraj. "
"It’s been ten years, they used to harass me and torture me in many ways, I have stayed more than 10 years in Pakistan and before that I stayed in Muscat, I feel very happy after meeting my parents," Said Mohammedi Begum.
